"If you improve yourself by 1% every day for a year. By the end of the year, you will be 37 times better."
But, how do you improve?
You subscribe to some podcasts, download some audiobooks, watch more videos, and start reading more.
In the age of the Internet, it is really easy to find and consume more information. We think consuming more information will somehow make us better. But just consuming information is a total waste of your time and energy. We tend to lose most of the information. Information becomes knowledge only if you can retain it. More knowledge is great but it is worthless unless you actually use it.
“Knowledge is potential power”, Jim Kwik
Writing and Publishing is something that actually helps you improve every day. Writing helps you get more clarity on the idea and you tend to retain the information. Publishing makes you a creator and that is where the real power comes from. When you start consuming information with the intent to create, that is where self-improvement starts.
"If you think you can learn a lot from reading books, try writing one.", James Clear
